Ron,
Building inspection forwarded me your proposal for the Sprouts monument sign. We discussed it at
DRC yesterday afternoon. All DRC members who were present for the initial discussion with you
agreed that aluminum panels with green vinyl letters was NOT what was anticipated with the
"refacing" of the existing sign.. What was recommended that the existing cast stone be replaced with a
similar masonry material with either pin mounted or etched letters.

First off thanks so much for your continued efforts and advice on the monument sign
project for Sprouts. Please pass along my appreciation to your group for the suggestion to
reface the existing brick monument signs. I am exploring that option with Sprouts and the
property owner and will develop exhibits next week for review. Based on the fact that the
proposal for the new monument sign would not be approved please withdraw our
application and refund the application fee.
