I'm ok with extending through April. I just didn't want to push my luck.
Thanks

I agree but would request that you consider extending thru the end of April. Reason....... You never know
and I would like some continuity on the Hard 8 and give you a hand as needed. Please advise as to your
reaction.

Subject: Hard 8 / Garreth
Jim
Garreth has continued to work beyond what we thought. Originally, he was to be complete with his
projects by December 2006. However, the east Sandy Lake project has taken longer than expected and
I'm sure you're aware that the Hard 8 has been progressing slower than we anticipated.
I have spoken to Donna and her recommendation, if we wanted to compensate Garreth, would be to just
have him invoice us and not sign an additional agreement.
I would like to recommend the following:
1) Have Garreth invoice us for January and February at a rate of $4000 per month. (The current entry
level for an Inspector is $3520, but with benefits that would go up to about $4500 per month. Obviously,
Garreth brings more to the job than entry level.)
2) Agree that the last day for his services would be March 30, 2007 and allow him to invoice us $4000 for
the month of March. (While the Hard 8 will not be complete by then, most if not all, of the involvement
from Engineering will be complete.)
The additional compensation can be absorbed by my salary account due to the high number of vacancies
we have had in Engineering.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss this further let me know.
Thanks for your consideration of this request.
