RE: Proposed Noise Barriers along State Highway (SH) 121- Segments
1 and 2 in Dallas, Denton and Collin Counties, Texas.
Dear Property Owner,
In order to remain consistent with the Texas Department of
Transportation (TxDOT) Dallas District wide policy regarding
construction of noise barriers; the North Texas Tollway Authority
(NTTA) is hereby informing you that all of the previously proposed noise
barriers for SH 121 from 0.23 mile west of Business SH 121 to the
Dallas North Tollway (DNT), as presented in the environmental
assessment for the project, will be constructed.
It is estimated that construction of Noise Barriers 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A,
3B, 4A, 4B, 4C, 4 D, 5, 6, and 7 will be completed by the end of 2008.
More detailed information on the barriers is listed below. Please see
attached Noise Barrier Location Map.
