As you may recall, our previous conversations concerned the relaying of the sanitary sewer line on the west side of Ms. Alexander's property to flow from the north to the south instead of the current south to the north flow. This in essence would eliminate the need for the current sewer line that meanders along the creek on the north side of Ms. Alexander's property. In consideration for the relaying of the sewer on the west side of Ms. Alexander's property and abandoning the sewer line on the north side of the property, the City's understanding is that Ms. Alexander will grant a permanent sanitary sewer easement on the east side of her property adjacent to Denton Tap Road, a temporary construction easement on the east side adjacent to the 20 foot permanent easement and a temporary construction easement adjacent to the existing sanitary sewer easement on the west side of Ms. Alexander's property. Enclosed with this letter are copies of the permanent construction easement and the two temporary construction easements. Your expedient response in having the documents signed, notarized and returned will be greatly appreciated. The contractor has stated that he may be in this general vicinity by the first of August. The City is still working with the contractor on possibly delaying this portion of the project until they have completed the portion downstream. If that is the route taken by the City and the contractor, then the construction of the sewer in this area could be delayed.
