Date: 6/11/2010 11:54 AM Subject: Bethel Road Closure I sent the message below out on Tuesday advising of the timing of the Bethel Road closure. I apologize for the mis- information, I simply went off what the contractor had told me. Due to poor planning on their behalf they were unable to do what they had told us they were planning to do. As of now the plan is to close Bethel Road at 9:00am on Monday morning (6/14/10). The road will remain open over the weekend. Sorry for the confusion. Feel free to call me if you have any questions, and please pass this information along to anyone that needs to know. Thanks, Keith JRJ Paving, the contractor working on behalf of the city to reconstruct Bethel Road, will close Bethel Road beginning tomorrow (6/8/2010) This closure will take place from west of Armstrong Blvd. to East of 234 Bethel Road. Access will be maintained to all neighborhoods and homes. This closure is expected to last up to 5 months. Larry Davis is the construction inspector assigned to this project. Should you have any questions related to this, please feel free to contact Larry at 469-576-7707, or I at the number below. Thanks for your patience during this project. Keith Marvin, P.E. JRJ tells us that they plan to close it today and work on the bridge tomorrow. I have expressed to them that if they are not going to be working this weekend, to let me know, and to not close the road until they are actually ready to work. If they do get the road closed, the Farmer's Market sign at the corner of Bethel & Denton Tap will need to be moved down to Southwestern. I'll keep you posted. Keith
