While on site last week for the Architectural Barriers walk through we noted the following items that will
require attention:
Cemetery areas not within the "Right -of -Way" or all areas inside the Property line:
1) HC ramps: ramps should be constructed per Architectural detail sheet AO -2 (width/depth of truncated
domes).
2) HC Parking Spaces /Access Isles to Columbarium and Funeral Home facilities:
a. Slope in the direction of travel should not exceed I :20 or 05 %.
b. Cross slope should not exceed 1 :50 or 02 %.
3) All crushed granite walkways need to be mechanically compacted w/ slopes as defined in item 2) above.
Rolline Oaks Memorial Center:
1) Columbarium:
a. Install HC sign at Restroom Door.
b. Install transition strip between the /concrete floors.
c. Leading edge of toilet paper dispensers should be set at 36" from the rear wall.
d. Water was entering at the south /east room corner between storefront windows. The exterior
grade or beds should be lowered at least 1 ' /z" below the brick ledge. The storefront window sills
should also be reviewed for proper flashing and sealant bed.
e. It was determined the 7' -0" wide concrete walk area from street side sidewalk to Entry Porch 001
is in excess of 05 % causing this area of approach to fall into a ramp category, therefore a
galvanized painted metal handrail will be required on each side of the walkway approach. Further
details are to be provided.
The intent is to provide occupancy for the Owner delaying the work for the Columbariurn until the
funeral home has been completed and ready to occupy.
2) Pavilion:
a. Install HC sign at Restroom Doors.
b. Wall heaters are to be relocated as shown on SDA -8.
c. Install Bradley model 235 surface mounted towel /waste receptacle at the location shown on
SDA -8 (mount dispenser at 48 "AFF).
d. Leading edge of toilet paper dispensers should be set at 36" from the rear wall.
