AT&T-CS080328 March 28, 2008 James McKee ATT Communications 1460 Roundtable Dr. Dallas, TX 75247 nd RE: ROW Use Permit for Denton Tap Rd. (2 notice) Dear Mr. McKee: This letter is to inform you that your permit for the above referenced work is being suspended. As such, all work associated with your work order number 6484936 should cease immediately. The contractor performing the work under this permit was observed closing three lanes of traffic along Denton Tap Rd. after 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. The permit clearly states that no lanes of traffic shall be closed before 9am or after 3pm. On March 14, 2008 it was observed by our inspectors that the contractor had lanes closed without utilizing proper traffic control measures within their work zone. The Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices spells out proper work zone signage, and the City of Coppell requires that those guidelines be followed. The contractor was notified to cease work until the proper traffic control plan has been submitted to the city for review and approval. Please contact this office at your earliest convenience if you have any questions. Sincerely, Michael Garza, EIT Graduate Engineer Office: 972-304-7019 Fax: 972-304-3570 mgarza@ci.coppell.tx.us CC: Ken Griffin, P.E., Director of Engineering and Public Works Glen Holowell, P.E., Assistant Director of Public Works Larry Davis, Construction Inspector
