Ordinance No. 2001-944 adopted April 10, 2001 provides terms and conditions for the use of public ROW. To view the ordinance in its entirety, go to municode.com and access the Online Library for Texas where you will find the Coppell Code of Ordinances. The referenced ordinance can be found in Chapter 6. The specific part of the ordinance relating to registration is Article 6-14, Section 6-14-3. According to the ordinance, one of the requirements telecommunication providers must satisfy is the payment of a $250 Right-of-Way Use Access Fee as adopted in Resolution No. 2001-0424.1 by the City of Coppell on April 24, 2001. Payment of the fee along with the completed ROW Maintenance Use Registration Form and proof of liability coverage completes the registration process for a 2-year period. Providers must update their registration in March every other year as long as they have facilities within the rights-of-way of the City of Coppell. Please forward the completed Registration Form (with proof of liability coverage attached) and your check for $250 to: Engineering Dept. City of Coppell 255 Parkway Blvd. Coppell TX 75019 I hope this letter of explanation meets your needs. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at (972) 304-3679.
