Emergency Lane Closure, Freeport Parkway
Atmos Energy is in the process of repairing a gas pipeline that was damaged during the
relocation of fiber optic facilities. The repair is under the pavement in the 700 block of Freeport
Parkway. The contractor, Driver Pipeline, is removing and replacing a large section of the
pavement in the two northbound lanes. The two northbound lanes are blocked to traffic because
of safety issues and the two southbound lanes are now two-way. The contractor anticipates
having the northbound lanes closed until Monday, June 13, 2005.
