RE: Permit for Proposed Pole Relocations along Sandy Lake Road
Construction Plan Review Comments
Dear Mr. Hall:
The City of Coppell has reviewed your permit application for the above-referenced project and
has the following comments to offer:
1.The City of Coppell has not yet acquired right-of-way on the south side of Sandy Lake
between SH 121 and Royal Lane. Contact this office to check the status of the acquisition
prior to beginning work in the area.
2.There are currently street lights on several of the poles along State Rd. These lights need to
remain in place or be relocated to an Oncor/TXU-owned utility pole.
3.Be advised that at some point in the future, Freeport Parkway will be extended from Wagon
Wheel Park to Sandy Lake Rd. and beyond. At that time, we will acquire additional ROW
and a portion of this line may need to be moved again.
