RE: MA10-01 DT&SL Intersection
George,
Just to let you know -
Larry Redick got back with Mike Friday regarding our request to use
Rigid Galvanized Conduit in order to have a trench depth of only 8".
However, per Larry, Oncor will require the 24" deep trench and PVC
conduit. Due to the trench depth and the number of trees as well as
utilities along the path of the trench, we believe that boring is
required to help protect the trees and to lessen the possibility of
severing underground utilities.
I hope to have you a cost for the jobs as soon as we have an estimate
back from a contractor for the bore.
Is there an easement that the electrical underground will need to stay
within?
Thanks,
Bill Asher

Bill, Could you pass this along to Mike... I just spoke with Larry
Redick with Oncor Cell 972-890-3479. He mentioned that the conduit will
need to be 24" deep to the top of the conduit. It would not hurt to
contact him to discuss.

Mike,
Please find attached a pdf of the design plans. I was talking this over
with some folks in the office and they mentioned that Oncor would
typically run the cable to the new meter but we would need to run the
conduit. So I think we would need a itemized/detailed bid.
If you have any other questions please contact me.
Thank You, George
