Re: Sandy Lake Road Water Line
Alignment Revisions - Wagon Wheel Ranch Tank to State Road
Dear Mr. Griffin:
As you directed, we have re-aligned the Sandy Lake Road Water Line project, from the Wagon Wheel Ranch
Tank to the Sandy Lake Road/State Road Intersection. The new alignment follows the north line of the
Wagon Wheel Ranch Park over to State Road, then generally stays 7-feet off the west edge of the concrete
pavement in State Road. The alignment has been set in order to avoid conflict with hardwood trees through
the park property. Where the alignment could not be set to avoid conflict with trees, we provided for boring
We are enclosing two sets of the revised construction plans along with a preliminary copy of Change Order
Number 2 which enumerates the quantity changes associated with the re-alignment and applies the current
contract unit prices. The resultant effect on the contract price is an increase of $142, 850.18. This large
increase is primarily due to the 400-foot long bore under the Cottonwood Branch of Denton Creek.
Please review the enclosed construction plans and associated preliminary change order and notify u fyour
