Trish,
We are aware of the two monitoring wells. I just recently received an update on the clean-up that I will forward to you.
Thanks.

Mindi - I know Keith is out on vacation this week, so I'll direct this question to you. See the second paragraph about the
gas station site. Also, Dan told me that I need to talk with you about easements following up from the franchise utility
coordination meeting yesterday. Feel free to call me anytime or let me know if you want me to stop by to discuss any of
these items!
For a brief project update - Keith and I talked on Monday afternoon and agreed to move forward with the paving, drainage,
water and sanitary sewer designs. I owe you guys an updated schedule showing our next submittal date. We have put
landscape, irrigation and electrical design on hold for the time being.
Talk to you soon!

Trish:
Dan and I visited the site today to coordinate the remaining design issues with city staff and the surveyor. We have gotten
all of the information we need to move forward with the design.
One item needs to be brought to the City's attention. The project site at Coppel Rd. and the proposed Main St. was home
to a gas station. The underground storage tank has been removed and there are currently two monitoring wells on site.
We are having the surveyor pick them up. What we need to know is the environmental status of the site, i.e. is it in the
state's Voluntary Cleanup Program and what are the terms of continual monitoring? We need to know if the wells must be
preserved. If so, they will require a little bit of work should the grades change in this area.
Clay

Hi Mendy,
Over a week ago we began the process of removing the contaminated soil on the site, thus the existing big hole. We are waiting on
the sample review by TCEQ to close the hole, which should happen this week. After that we just have to more quarters to monitor
the ground water through the under ground wells and we should have all the volumes of paperwork ready to submit to TCEQ for
the final approval of a clean site. February 2011 will mark two years for the clean-up.
Thanks, Perri
