Verification of G.E. Motor
Dear Mr. Griffin:
In accordance with our request dated May 5, 2000, AUI General Contractors has forwarded the enclosed
response from General Electric concerning the condition of the 600 horsepower motor supplied with Pump
Number 4. In addition, the contractor has scheduled a meeting with the motor manufacture's representative at
the job site to evaluate and confirm the information provided. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 15,
2000 at 11:00 a.m.
We look forward to seeing you on Monday and are available to discuss this project further at your
convenience.

brand new. I have asked GE Supply as soon as possible get.
documentation on the routine test of the motor (not available as this
moment). As stated in item f~3, this will be forthcoming in the next 24
houm. We would like 2 days notice to arrange for the GE factory
personnel to meet with the engineers and owners. it will be god if you
can propose this Fdday or next Tuesday.

The motor fumiehed to the Ctty of Coppell model tSKS513AN389M. $edal #
ORG083004, 600hp, 1200 rpm, 4160 volts is a brand new motor and was specifically
built for the City of Coppell and to Shirnelc, Jacobs & Finklea's specif'~tiorm.

This motor was built during the first quarter of 2000, for Odin Nation Co/City of Coppea
under Oslin Nation Co. purchase order number DA-02283601~tA. It shipped from our
facility, Oweneboro, KY on March 14, 2000.

The motor received a routine test. (date recorded is attached)
This motor was purcrtaeed from GE Supply. GE Supply is the exclusive representative in
the state of Texas. GE Suplcdy is ready to meet with the engineer and the City of Coppert
· tO answer arty questions they may have abou( the referenced motor.
When the motor arrived at the Job site it was determined that the conduit box was in the
standard posrtlen (F-l), which the specifications drawings c~ailed for the (F-Z) position.
The motor was transported to our authorized ~ervice center, Shermoo- Where this
change procedure wa~ ar.,ompllShed.
