Paul,
As I told you over the phone, Keith Marvin (City of Coppell) and I discussed the Point West VII driveway opposite
from Point West Boulevard. Mr. Marvin reiterated a question about the driveway curb return geometry and its
conformance with the approved plans. Mr. Marvin stated that the curb radii and returns as shown on the
approved plans are acceptable to the city. We discussed options for changing that plans and, as has been our
experience working with Coppell, the City is open to plan changes provided a solution is agreed upon prior to
implementing them.
In looking at the stamped concrete shown on the plans on the east side of the drive, the following measurements
are found.
East edge of concrete stamp: distance between stamping and curb face = 1.5’.
West edge of concrete stamp: distance between stamping and curb face = 3.8’.
