We are working on a cost to present to the developer to convert the
overhead to underground. I will keep you updated on how the discussions
with the developer proceed.

Jeff,
We expect to begin construction on the Bethel Road widening project in
the October 2008 time frame. We would appreciate it if the poles down
around Denton Tap were clear by then.
Thanks.

Keith,
As discussed yesterday, Oncor will proceed with replacement of the three
galvanized pole/cobra head luminaires with European pole/Finial Band
luminaires. Also, do you have a construction start date for the Bethel
Road improvement project?

Jeff,
For the most part we rely on Oncor to design the illumination to provide
adequate lighting for the residents of the subdivision. Our review of
your design is generally limited to issues with the street, ensuring
intersections, curves, or other changes are adequately illuminated.
After reviewing your request though, DiWanna and I went out to look at
this subdivision as well as some others in the area. Our observation is
that with the smaller poles they are generally spaces every fourth lot

staggered from one side of the street to the other.
Please let us know what your recommendation to the developer is.

Keith,
I received a call from John Hawkins yesterday concerning the three
street lights inside the subdivision. The builder does not like the
looks of the galvanized pole and cobra head light. John wants me to
give him a cost for replacing the three lights with Finial Band
luminaires and European Style poles. These proposed lights would match
the light we installed at the subdivision entrance. The European Style
pole has a 12' mounting height and the galvanized pole has a 25'
mounting height. Do you think any additional lights would be needed if
the lights were changed out as proposed?
