Mr. Berkebile,
These are all good questions. Thanks for bringing them up. I would suggest
that at some point between now and the start of construction we get together
with the contractor to discuss these. We are still working on getting the
contracts signed, so it may be several weeks before we are actually under
construction.
Once I have signed contracts, I will contact you to set up a time to meet
and go over these issues.

Keith,
I received the project notice letter dated May 5 regarding the Bethel Road
Project and I have a few questions:
*The letter states that "the contractor will be required to maintain
access to adjacent properties during all phases of the construction
activity". Just to be clear, will I have access off of Bethel Road from the
west to our property at 234 W. Bethel Road? This is an important issue since
as you know we have a house being constructed at the property.
*As you also know, we own the property directly NW of the Grapevine
Springs bridge. I need to make sure that during construction of the road and
bridge that this area is protected from the contractors' equipment,
materials, etc. Do I need to construct a temporary barrier fence for this
area or is there another way to handle it? Your advice would be appreciated.

*Finally, at some point we need to work out the transition from
Bethel Road to our new driveway at the property. Our driveway will consist
of a poured concrete base with pavestones on top. Let me know how we need to
work together on this with your department, the contractor, and our
landscape architect. We can meet to discuss this small aspect of the project
whenever it makes sense timeline wise and is convenient.
That's it for now. I look forward to hearing back from you.

Phil Berkebile
