Yesterday, North Texas Contracting spent half a day digging up the connection point for the
16 "x6" tapping sleeve located at paving sta 38 +75, plan sheet PV -2 (9 of 80). North Texas was
notified by the City of Coppell that the 16" water line is actually on the north side of Bethel Rd.
In the discussions with Larry Davis on site, we would like to propose moving the tapping sleeve,
valve, and the new fire hydrant to the other side of the street.
Also, since a half a day was spent digging up in a location that went to no where except for an 8"
abandon line, I would like to submit a change order for a half a day worth of time to compensate
our subcontractor for his time.
