Subject: Bethel Rd - Additional quanties
Keith,
I have met with Larry Davis on site regarding some additional quantities that will be added to the current items on
the contract and are located at the intersection of Chateau/Bethel:
1 – fire hydrant at SE corner of this location is in the pavement and has to be removed and relocated.
2 – 139lf of 24” RCP that runs under Chateau with hdwl has to be removed.
3 – 4’x4’ wye inlet at SW corner connecting to the 24” RCP needs to be removed.
These additional items will be included on the next pay application for this project.
Also, today while in creek area a large flow of SS was being discharged out to the apparent abandoned 10” SS
line crossing the creek. I met with Larry Davis on site who in turn notified Public Works to investigate this
situation.
In regards to the plants that do not have any water to them at the NW corner of Denton Tap/Bethel Rd. I have
contacted and reminded Eric Smith, Sr Builder David Weekly Hms, that his irrigation still does not work due to the
dbl check at the NE corner of Knights/Bethel Rd not working. Eric has informed me that he has had the City of
Coppell to look at this and said the water meter was broken. This system has not worked and we had notified
Eric of it not working before we started working on this project. Eric is to have his irrigation personnel work on
this, per my discussion today.
