My letter to Duke of June 6, 2007 requested a layout drawing from the
sign manufacturer for city review and approval. I have yet to see that
submittal.
I spoke with Kevin from Durable on 9/21/07 and requested a meeting
between the city and his proposed sign manufacturer to discuss this
layout. I have yet to hear back about that requested meeting.
I suggest that we meet to discuss the layout, then the manufacturer
produce the layout drawings as requested in June, then we manufacture
the signs. If this causes a delay in the sign delivery the contractor
can install temporary signs until the permanent sign is ready to
install.
