Gentlemen:
We understand the existing 8-inch water line near station 108+00 is in conflict with the proposed 24-inch
water line. As we discussed with your office this morning, we recommend the existing 8-inch line be lowered
to avoid the conflict. This work will be paid for using existing pay items as follows:
Item 9 8-inch PVC Water Line
Item 23 Connecting to Existing 8-inch water line
Item 26 Furnishing and Installing Ductile Iron Fittings
Please proceed with this work under your existing contract scope. If you have any questions or need
