Our HOA Board met and we would like to go forward with having speed humps installed on Fallkirk
Drive and/or having the 2-way stop at Fallkirk & Kilbridge made a 4-way stop. We may also want
to have the same done for the intersection at Turnberry and Kilbridge.
Please let me know what we need to do to help.

Thank you for your reply to my e-mail. I went by Winding Hollow and took photos. That is exactly

The city does have a "speed hump" program. We use modified humps on residential streets that
allow for no delay to emergency vehicle response times. We have modified humps on Winding
Hollow, so you may want to drive that street to get an understanding of what modified humps are.
To get your street considered, please email the name of the street and the problem observed to
my office. Once we have that information, we will perform a traffic study and score your street
against other streets currently under consideration. We currently have six streets on the Traffic
Calming list waiting on speed humps. If your street score is higher, then your street would be
placed higher on the list.
Again, once you email the information to me, we can start the process.

I am copying this e-mail to Ken Griffin because he may be able to address some of the issues.
1) It would be great if we could get back on the traffic unit patrol. I haven't seen any tickets
handed out lately in our subdivision. Thanks, however, for handing them out to people speeding
south down the hill on Denton Tap.
2) I wanted to ask about having speed humps installed in our subdivision. Have other subdivisions
in Coppell installed them? Is that something that I would need to discuss with the engineering
department? Unfortunately, I see that is the only way to get our residents to slow down. The

3) Have traffic counts been recorded on Denton Tap since the lights have been installed at E.
Vista Ridge Mall Drive and Highland Drive?
