Las Colinas Blvd. Irving, Texas 75039 Re: Grading and Drainage Improvements within a 29.4153 acre Drainage Easement granted to the Dallas County Utility and Reclamation District, Coppell Texas Dear Mr. Burke This letter is our written request for permission to construct grading and drainage improvements within the approximate 29.4153 acre drainage easement granted by Triland Development, Inc. to The Irving Flood Control District 111 and to Dallas County Utility and Reclamation District as its successor. When completed the project will benefit the district by: 1. The net affect of all grading within the drainage easement is to increase the valley storage within the 100- yr floodplain of the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. 2. The project will result in positive channel grade to drain for an unnamed tributary of Elm Fork away from a district levee. This will help eliminate water ponding at the base of the levee. 3. All final grades shall be sustainable slopes of no more than 4.1 and stabilized using standard vegetative standards to prevent erosion. All work is subject to and shall comply with Federal and Local City ordinance requirements.
