The engineering department performed a walk-thru on August 13, 2008. There were several items that needed to be
addressed prior to us issuing a final acceptance on the project. The contractor has been working to address these items,
however the last few days of rain has hindered their effort. The inspector on the project thinks they need 2-3 days of good
weather to be complete.
None of the items outstanding would pose a safety hazzard to any occupants of the building. The engineering department
has no objections to the issuance of a temporary certificate of occupancy, with a full CO pending those few outstanding
issues.

Please ensure your folks do whatever we can tomorrow to make inspections at the college so they can get a certificate of
occupancy as soon as possible. Please understand that I am not asking us to look the other way, but let's do what we can.
