ST8801-CS 920629TO: Frank Trando, Finance Director FROM: Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E., City EnGineer ~ SUBJECT: Request of Cost Estimates for Sandy Lake Intersections and Coppell Road DATE: June 29, 1992 Transmitted via this memo, you will find attached a copy of some preliminary rough cost estimates for the followinG: Sandy Lake/MacArthur Intersection Sandy Lake/Moore Intersection Coppell Road from Plantation to Sandy Lake Coppell Road from Plantation to Bethel Road These cost estimates represent my best estimate as to what the cost will be for the permanent construction of each of these projects. Please bare in mind that an exact cost estimate cannot be obtained until the projects have been designed and exact quantities have been arrived at. However, these costs are based on available bid tabulations from other sources. None of these cost estimates include the associated cost for the purchase of right of way. Also, various drainage improvements, as identified by the Albert H. Halff DrainaGe Study, have been included in the cost of these projects. In particular, I included the Moore Road drainage improvements north of Sandy Lake and the Coppell Road BridGe improvements immediately north of Bethel Road. I will be available at or before the July 22, 1992 City Council meeting to discuss any portion of these cost estimates as needed. AGain, they are preliminary rough estimates based on the best available current information. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
