Unfortunately they were unsuccessful. After testing the wiring they determined there was an open in the line from the hand hold to the meter. They said that new wire needed to be pulled through the conduit. The old wire was going to be used as the pull for the new run. In attempting to remove the old wire a 40 foot piece came out that looked clearly as if it had been cut. With the length that was pulled and the direction of the conduit it looks like the wire was hit directly below where significant digging took place while installing the cabling for the street lights. I have the wire for your inspection. After our onsite meeting the morning of May 2nd, it was apparent that the Oncor contractor was not aware of the HOA's service behind the wall. I feel this lack of awareness led to them hitting our service. Please move this work over to the correct department that can restore my service ASAP. Our landscaping for 152 homes has not seen water for over 6 weeks. Summer is here and we need relief, NOW! I'm not sure our landscaping could endure another day without water, especially with the high temperatures forecasted for this week. We will put our irrigator on notice to do the system check and reprogramming first thing tomorrow morning. Coppell Road on May 2, 2008 to discuss the power service to the irrigation system for the referenced Subdivision. As you know this power service was disconnected during the project to install street lights along Parkway Blvd. Upon leaving the meeting Roy Ross (HOA President) and I were under the impression that Oncor would reestablish power service to this irrigation system in a timely manner. As of this morning more than three weeks have passed, and this service is still not completed. As you know this system irrigates a large area in and around this subdivision. Mr. Ross is very concerned that much of his landscaping will begin dying as the hot weather moves in. Please contact Mr. Ross (214- 202 -7093) or I to discuss this at your earliest convenience.
