The proposed sidewalk appears to go under the light pole supports of TXU /Oncor. The city can construct the sidewalk and maintain it on my property at no cost to me. That is NOT the case with the easement. Easement gives us permission. Now, acquiring Right -of -Way is totally different Right -of Way is giving the City your land or a portion of it. We are not trying to acquire Right- of- Way. Even if you don't change your mind. I want to make sure we are on the same page regarding the difference in easement and Right -of -Way. Are we? I do not have a file on your property. I have solicited the Planning Department to help with locating any correspondence or easements. Also, if you have any correspondence that might be helpful, please send it to me. I have attached the plan sheet 12 of 30 that shows the proposed sidewalk and location. After you view it, let me know any questions or concerns you might have. As we discussed, the sidewalk is shown not affecting the existing sign. If an easement is needed, I will send this same page to our surveyor who will draw up the easement documents containing the metes and bounds. I am requesting the easement to be one (1) foot on the outer boundary of the proposed sidewalk. After which, I will e-mail you the documents so that you sign and return to me; allowing the City of Coppell to construct sidewalk on your property. Thanks again!
