As far as I know any easement recorded by separate instrument needs to be abandoned in the same fashion. This would
involve preparing exhibits and having the entity that the easement is dedicated to sign off on an abandonment document.
This would then be filed at the county.

I received comments regarding the preliminary plat last Thursday. One
of the comments related to abandoning the existing easements along the
west side of the property. It said we need to do this by separate
instrument. Can you tell me the procedure for abandonments?
