Belt Line Road Improvement Project
Temporary Detour
Please find attached a temporary detour plan for handling
east/west Belt Line traffic at the Belt Line/Denton Tap
intersection. This detour is necessary for accommodating storm
sewer installation across the intersection. Two days are needed
to complete this work and have the intersection re-opened for
traffic. Signage shall be according to the Uniform Traffic
Control Manual and will adequately inform the traveling public.
Very minor inconvenience will be afforded to the public during
this time.
We have already met with both the Police, Fire and Public Works
Departments and have accommodated their needs.
The work will not begin until after rush hour (9:00 AM) on
Monday, November 9, 1987 and is anticipated to be completed by
evening on Tuesday, November 10, 1987 and the intersection re-
opened to traffic. During the rush hours of 7:00-9:00 AM and
4:00-6:00 PM, we have required the Contractor to provide an off-
duty Coppell patrolman at the Sanders Loop intersection to assist
in traffic control if needed.
The enclosed map of the detour plan is for your use should you
desire to include in the Council FYI packets. Please call if you
should have any questions.
