(Intersection Design Construction Plans)
Dear Mr. Middleton:
We have reviewed the construction plans you submitted on the above
referenced project and provide you with the attached mark up plan
for revision. Also in response to your letter dated December 5,
1989, we have the following comments and/or response, according to
your numbered items.
1. Per the Subdivision Ordinance, the required right-of-way for
a six lane major thoroughfare is llO'.feet and within 300 feet
of an intersection 130'. Provide a right-of-way key map and
show existing and proposed right-of-way. Please provide your
recommendation, indicating where the needed right-of-way needs
to be be obtained.
2. On the above mentioned key map, as requested, please show what
the existing and proposed right-of-way for MacArthur Boulevard
at said intersection is and how to obtain the needed right-
of-way. As per your telephone conversation with Shohre
Daneshmand of our office and per your request, we have checked
our files again and attached is what we can provide you or
MacArthur Boulevard, north of said intersection.
3. Yes, this major intersection is considered a primary zone and
needs to be constructed per the streetscape plan, which has
been provided to you at the start of this project.
4. Yes, the response is the same as above, item #3.
5. We have provided to you all construction plans available to
us. Shohre provided you the necessary information to get any
other needed plans from other engineering companies. Also you
can check with Ron Morrison of your office for any related
hydraulic information. He has the best information for the
City of Coppell.
6. Yes, all pavement markings and signage will be done as part
of this contract.
7. Yes, utility relocation will be required as part of this
contract.
8. On the construction plan, show the length and the height of
the retaining wall that needs to be installed and the type.
As per your discussion with Shohre Daneshmand of our office, please
provide two revised set of construction plans and a status report
by Monday, March 12, 1990.
