Re: Belt Line Road Improvements
Dear Jim:
Pursuant to our telephone conversation on June 29, 1987 regarding
responsibility for the relocation of a TU Electric pole located
at station 38+25, we have reviewed the contract between the City
of Coppell and Ed Bell Construction Company. We have determined
that since this utility exists outside the Belt Line Road right-
of-way in a private easement, it is not Ed Bell Construction
Company's responsibility to pay for the relocation of this pole.
Therefore, since this pole relocation is necessary to facilitate
the drainage improvements prescribed by change order number one
(1), we request that funding for this relocation come from the
escrow account established by Connell Development Company.
Please pursue this with Connell and furnish us a letter on behalf
of your client recognizing this charge to be applied to the
escrow account for change order #1 on this project. The cost of
the relocation is .$1,409.00 as noted per the TU Electric
Company's correspondence dated June 1, 1987 of which both you and
