Notice of Construction Problems
Dear Mr. Laughley:
This letter will serve as an official notice for documentation of problems concerning your
company's conduct of the contract thus far. The City of Coppell has received complaints
about various problems connected with equipment, workers' conduct and inadequate traffic
control at work locations.
You must not allow broken down equipment to remain on the street for more than 24 hours.
Workers should be instructed to avoid throwing trash in yards and using private property for
lunch breaks, and adequate traffic control must be in place at all times in work areas.
One additional problem that is especially severe in consequence is the blocking of
mailboxes preventing mail delivery. This must not be allowed to happen in the future. If
you are unsure about the conduct expected from Laughley crews, I will be happy to discuss
any of these issues with you in detail.
Sincer 1 ,
Albert Samaniego
Construction Inspector
