Re: Intersection of Sandy Lake Road at MacArthur
Dear Shohre:
Based on our conversations concerning needed improvements at the above location, we are pleased
to submit the following proposal.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
The proposed improvements are visualized to include the reconstruction of Sandy Lake Road for a
distance of approximately 300-feet east and west of MacArthur to provide a divided roadway with
left-turn lanes connecting to the completed MaeArthur paving. This construction would include
paving, grading, and drainage improvements.
Design services proposed include the preparation of construction plans, specifications, and estimates
(PS&E) for paving, grading, and drainage improvements. NCTCOG standard specifications will be
used to the extent possible. Services proposed will be concluded with the submission of approved
PS&E, but contractor bid and award, and construction phase services may be provided as an
additional service. Field surveys for design will be provided by the City of Coppell or as an
additional service.
FEE AND SCHEDULE
A lump sum fee of $20,000.00 is proposed for the above services. Design can begin immediately on
receipt of authorization and is expected to take eight weeks following completion of field surveys.
