Dear Mr. Chadick:
This letter is a follow -up to our previous meetings, conversations and letters concerning
acquisition of property that you own located at the northwest corner of Bethel Road and Coppell
Road.
At the March 27, 2007 City Council meeting, Council approved an 'Agreement of Exchange of
Property' between you and the City of Coppell to allow the city to trade Parcel 1 for Parcel 2 and
a portion of Parcel 3; and to acquire the balance of Parcel 3 and Parcels 4 and 5 from you.
Three original documents that have been signed by the City Manager are enclosed for your
review and signature. The 'Agreement of Exchange of Property' was created by the city's
attorney and while it is longer than any correspondence that we have exchanged, it does
accomplish the goals that we set out to accomplish.
If this is acceptable to you, please sign and return two of the original documents to me. Once I
have received the documents, I will start the process for payment of the $12,436.71. The
agreement will be filed with Dallas County and a copy of the filed document will be provided to
you.
I appreciate your patience in working with the City of Coppell concerning the exchange of
property and the acquisition of the additional right -of -way and easements. If you should have
