Name: Sandy Lake Road (Kimbel Kourt to East City Limits)
Design Engineer: Jacobs Civil
Scope: ± 4300 L.F. — Reconstruct 2 -lane asphalt to 4 -lane divided roadway with drainage
improvements
Status: Design is 99% complete. Updated plans available during this meeting.
Right -of -Way: Right -of -way acquisition is complete.
Utilities: February 4, 2004 follow -up letter regarding any new facilities constructed since 2002
sent. Utilities need to initiate relocations. Eight horizontal/vertical control monuments have been
set.

Name: Bethel Road I (West City Limits to Freeport Parkway)
Design Engineer: Tran Systems
Scope: ± 6500 L.F. — Reconstruct 2 -lane asphalt to 4 -lane divided roadway with drainage and
channel improvements. May construct the roadway and channel as separate projects due to the
USACE 404 permitting process.
Status: Design is 90% complete. 80% plans have been provided to utility companies.
Right -of -Way: Right -of -way acquisition for the roadway is underway. Drainage easement
acquisition for the channel has not started. Some utilities may conflict with the proposed channel.
Will need right -of -way at the box culvert — part of Bethel II acquisition.

Lane to east of Freeport Parkway). Utilities may locate facilities under the proposed roadway on
parcels that have not been acquired (from east of Royal Lane to east of Freeport Parkway) or wait
until the right -of -way has been acquired to relocate facilities.
Oncor — coordinate with the Town of Grapevine on construction of Bethel/Bass Pro Roads.

Scope: ± 6500 L.F. — Reconstruct 2 -lane asphalt to 4 -lane divided roadway with drainage and
channel improvements. - ±1300 L.F. - Construct two additional lanes to make Royal Lane a 4-
lane divided roadway
Status: Design is 80% complete. Initial contact was made with utilities in June to August 2001
to determine location of facilities. 80% plans were sent to utility companies on October 31, 2003.
Right -of -Way: Preparation of right -of -way and easement documents should be complete by June
2004.
Utilities: Relocations not initiated.

Project: MA 02 -03
Name: Brick Paver Replacement Program
Design Engineer: In -House
Scope: Remove and replace brick pavers with alternate material along MacArthur Boulevard,
(DeForest to Belt Line Road). Seven possible intersections.

Status: Design is 85% complete. The City is reviewing options for the replacement material
Plans were sent to utilities on April 20, 2004.

WATER
Project: WA 00 -02
Name: Golden Triangle Mobile Home Park
Design Engineer: Pacheco Koch Consulting Engineers
Scope: ± 900 linear feet of 8" water line and 3 fire hydrants. The water line is within utility
easements in the mobile home park and Alford Media property.
Status: June 8, 2004 City Council & June 15, 2004 County Commissioner's Court. Plans were
provided to utility companies during Dallas County's monthly utility meeting in May 2003.
Right -of -Way: Land rights acquisition is complete.
Utilities: Gas easements throughout the mobile home park.
Estimated Construction Start: June /July 2004
Project: WA 01 -01
Name: SH 121 Water Line
Design Engineer: Birkhoff, Conway & Hendricks
Scope: ± 8800 linear feet of 12" water line and appurtenances. The majority of the water line is
within SH 121 right -of -way and a small portion is within utility easements and City right -of -way.
Status: Design is 90% complete. Plans available during this meeting.
Right -of -Way: Three to four parcels — land rights acquisition has been initiated.
Utilities: Design engineer is making contact with the utilities located inside of the SH 121 utility
corridor to try and determine any conflicts with the proposed water line.

SEWER
Project: SS 99 -01
Name: DeForest and Sandy Lake Force Main — Line "D"
Scope: ± 8700 linear feet of 30" force main by directional drilling. Part of the force main is
within MacArthur right -of -way and part of the force main is within existing and proposed utility
easements
Status: Construction Contract awarded during the May 11, 2004 City Council meeting. Plans
provided during the November 13, 2003 utility meeting.

Project: SS 02 -01
Name: Service Center Sanitary Sewer Line
Design Engineer: In -House
Scope: ± 1800 linear feet of 18" sewer line along the DART railroad line from Coppell Road to
Grapevine Creek.
Status: Construction Contract awarded during the May 11, 2004 City Council meeting. Plans
provided to utilities in February 2004, follow -ups in March and April.
