Re: Village Parkway Pump Station
Addition of Pump Number 4
Dear Mr. Griffin:
We are continuing to pursue the installation of the new TXU transformers required at the Village Parkway Pump
Stahon for Pump Number 4. Our electrical sub-consultant, Mr. William Goff of McCreary and Associates, Inc., is
beginning to express some frustrations in his efforts to get TXU to commit to dates and cost. We are attaching a
copy of the most recent update he has provided our office.
We believe intervention on your part is necessary at this stage in order to meet the project schedule and to insure an
adequate and reliable power source at the Village Parkway Pump Station for this summer' s anticipated peak water
demand period. Please review the attached status report and notify us of your findings.

~ continued to be In touch with TXU wit mpts to have
them complete the work. Their Rick Fielding has moved ve~ slowly on
th~s project. having to take ~o tr~ps to the site, and continuing to
promise dates and not meeting the datesi I have talked to him t~ay
wiffi only the promise that he is working on ~e price and new ~ntract
to present to the city now without giving me any promise of
conclusion. If we continue to oDtain no response, we may need your
inte~ention with or the inte~ention of the City of CoDpeil.
TXU has assigned a Key Account executive, Jimmie McCormick to follow
work once ~ick gives him the information. I have talked to Jimmie and
he seems ffi be nothing more ~an a TXU middleman to large users. But
having a fou~h contact to have to work through could slow things
fu~her,
I am sor~ that I cannot seem to light a fire under TXU.
to follow-up the e~o~ to resolve any technical issues and bring this
ma~er to a close. If you have any ~uggestions, please advise.
