Box 123800 Fort Worth, TX 76121 -3800 RE: Annual Reinforced Concrete Pavement Repairs, FY 09 -10 Request for Meeting Dear Mr. Laughley: This letter follows a September 30, 2010 certified letter sent to you enumerating problems with the conduct of your work under the current contract. The City of Coppell has received additional complaints about problems connected with the issues, as follow: 1. One side of Woodhurst Drive is still not completed after over a month has elapsed. In accordance with Specification No. 21 "Once work on one area has commenced, it shall be completed and restored within 10 days." 2. The issue of damage within your work zone to a vehicle belonging to Karina Ramirez (at Meadowview & Moore Road) is still unresolved. 3. There was a serious lack of work completed in the month of October. 4. We have questions at this point about your ability to complete the work by the December 31, 2010 date as required in the contract. We want to set up a meeting with you to go over these problems and how they will be resolved, as well as how you intend to finish the remainder of the contracted work on time. Please call me as soon as you receive this letter so we can schedule the meeting at our office in Coppell.
