There are s~veral problems that need to be resolved o~ Lh~ referenced
project. First, the plans sl~o~ an exi. sting sleeve for use J~ cormecting
the water and power for the proposed i. rrigmtiun system. As you
our forces have been unable to locate that sleeve. However, ~n existinq
cable television sleeve was found. I f power car, be hooked up through
that sleeve, water ~an be provfded through a.n existing system. If you
should require a new sleeve to complete the wot'lq as planned, a
sleeve can be bored as fo]Im~s:
~ Approx. 85 Li~. Ft.-q" ~tor'ed PVC
Sleeve 8 $80.60 per L.F. = $515.00
The existing contrul, ler is a Wemthermatic SSMA Controller. lhe plans
~how six ~tations to be existing on this controller, ttowever, there
appear to be approximately sixt;een ~tations already connec%ed. As
called for on the plan~, a new lO-station module mus't be added to
provide this ne~t irriqati, on ~y~tem. Our We~th,rmatic supplier
reprmsentative tells us that this controlle~' i~ obsolete and kl~e lO-
station module is no longer manufactured. I!; is possible for ~n old one
one ot all. Even if we find this module, the City wi II be left
controller that t~ill be hard, if not impossible, to repair. IF you
the new controller is ~ppealil-~u, inLJudiTig credit for t;li~' lO-station
