Gentlemen:
We are enclosing five copies of Change Order Number 1 to your contract with the City of Coppell for the
construction of the Sandy Lake Road Water Line, from Denton Tap Road to the Wagon Wheel Ranch Elevated
Storage Tank. Change Order Number 1 covers the additional work required to re-bore the first 40 linear feet
of Denton Tap Road due to the conflict with the existing 16 inch water line.
Please sign and return all five copies to our office for further execution by the City. We will return two fully
executed copies to you once signed by the City of Coppell. We are available to discuss this project further at
your convenience.

The intent of this change order is to modify the provisions of the contract entered into between the City of
Coppell, Texas and Fox Contractors, Inc., P.O. Box 951, Midlothian, Texas 76065, for construction of the
Sandy Lake Road Water Line - Wagon Wheel Ranch Elevated Tank to Denton Tap Road, dated
December 8, 1998.
B. DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE
Due to conflict with the existing 16-inch waterline and the proposed 24-inch waterline underneath the
northbound lanes of Denton Tap Road, approximately 40-linear feet of installed 36-inch encasement pipe is
to be removed and re-bored at a lower grade. See the attached revised construction drawing.
