RE: Sanitary Sewer Easement Grapevine Creek Trunk Main Branches I and II
Dear Jerry:
As we discussed on January 29, 1993, the contract for the construction of Grapevine Creek Sewer Trunk
Main was awarded by City Council on December 8, 1992, to Kenco Construction. It had been the City's
desire to release the contractor to start working on the project sometime in February, 1993. All contracts
were received by the City from the contractor on January 18, 1993.
As you may or may not be aware, this project does start near MacArthur Boulevard and proceeds in a
westerly direction. Therefore, the first piece of property that the contractor will encounter is the property
owned by yourself. It is imperative that the City acquire the easement as quick as possible. Depending
upon weather conditions, it is now the City's desire to release the contractor on this project in March,
1993. The easement would have to be in place approximately three to four weeks prior to us releasing
the contractor. This is so we can issue a notice to proceed and the contractor can begin mobilizing to
start the project.
I hope this information has been helpful. If you should have any other questions concerning this project
either now or during the course of construction, please feel free to contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E.
