Subject: Heartz Rd Median
To whom it may concern;
I am writing to request a small, but effective grassy median be added, if possible, on each side of Heartz
Rd. to either side of Sandy Lake Rd. Traffic along this road has continued to increase, since it was
introduced as an alternate route during the construction of Beltline Rd . Since many bike riders, joggers,
and school children from Town Center and Manara Elementaries cross this street everyday, I am
confident that a grassy median would decrease the Beltline Rd speeds that have begun to be
seen weekdays -- and on weekends when young riders are at the greatest risk.
Please consider this request and/or an alternative at your earliest convenience. Policeman have patrolled
this street and issued tickets, but the traffic persists. Please help.
