Willow Park
To Whom It May Concern:
Aspen Landscaping will install Asiatic Jasmine ground cover in conjunction with jute Netting to
stabilize slopes in excess of 4:1 on the Willow Park Subdivision. The jasmine has a proven track
record of stabilizing steep slopes in the DFW Metroplex as well as the added benefit of
spreading fast and providing additional erosion control. Aspen landscape will be responsible for
both the installation of the irrigation and plant material as well as the ongoing maintenance of
the slope through its contract with the Willow Park Home Owner's Association until the Asiatic
Jasmine is mature and the slopes fully stabilized.
We feel this is the best solution given the desire to protect the heavily treed buffer in existence
between the property and Highway 121. Other benefits are that the Asiatic Jasmine requires
minimal water and does not require mowing. Our experience has shown this to be very
effective in the stabilization of steep slopes on properties we maintain.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. See attached informational data
sheets regarding Asiatic jasmine.
Sincerely,
)13
