The Flexicore rep called me this morning. He was asking about the fact that the dowels from the sidewalk into
the deck wouldn’t go into the precast element.
There are two options available; one, use the precast deck, place the CIP concrete on top, then drill in the
anchors or two, use SIP form for the exterior slab spans and place the dowels in the CIP as shown in the
drawings. Either method is acceptable to us.
