Keith /Dean,
Here are some options to start working on. We will need feedback from JRJ and their bridge sub
contractor tomorrow.
Dean,
The "proposed screenwall" is for the first 55ft of the north wall. We need you guys to put together a cost
associated with this option.
The "retrofit existing footing" is a couple of options on of how to construct the remaining north and south
wall using the existing footing and wall already on the ground. Please pass this on to your bridge sub
contractor and have him provide feedback tomorrow.
Dean, have Steve contact Peter with any questions he might have about these details. If he would like to
come by our office tomorrow, just let me know.
Obviously, there are still details to be completed with both of these, so immediate feedback is essential in
order to prevent any more delays. If these options seem feasible, we can provide Peter a clear direction
to expedite the completion of the details.
Keith, I have our stormwater guys reviewing the riprap limits on the north /east side of the bridge. I will
have something for you by Friday on this.
We will provide comments on the CTB tomorrow. Can you verify with Larry that CTB has already been
placed in the bridge structure?
Call me with any questions you might have
Caleb

Keith,
Attached is what Steve Goodman is suggesting be done to correct the situation that was discussed on site
yesterday. The 2'x2' concrete block is to be installed on the Roadway Side of the wall. The steel needed
in this area is to be determined by the Structural Engineer and will be installed, per their recommendation.
would also like to know the distance of the #5 bars that will need to be added in the wall areas greater
than 6' in height.
As of yesterday, we have ceased all wall pours on the north and south sides until this is resolved.
Anything that can be done to help in proceeding forward will be appreciated.
Thank you,
Dean Dumke

Dean,
The sketch below modifies the MOT STD wall detail, adding weight to the roadway side.
This will counter the motnex. tat the joint, with the steel being placed with the face of the wall to
the .roadway side as staked. by your surveyor.
This work can be done immediately and not cause any significant delay.
Please have the engineers review and respond.
You ly,
Step en P Goodman.
