(Tickler 1/4/91)
As per your request, I rewrot%..~he letter from the City Manager to
Mike Allen regarding above project, along with a memo from you to
Alan Ratliff. Please note that I checked with Frank Trando,
Finance Director, about the implementation of sanitary sewer
reimbursement based on acreage. Frank indicated that if such
policy was adopted and/or used, the actual reimbursement would be
a formula based on an acreage, instead of linear footage. Frank
also indicated that if we need to discuss in more detail, he would
be able to meet with us.
Please let me know if you have any questions, otherwise this
tickler is ended.
End of tickler.

RE: Oversize and Prorata Utility Reimbursements Park Place
Addition & Heartz Road
Dear Mr. Allen:
We have reviewed your request regarding the Sanitary Sewer oversize
reimbursement by the City based on acreage. We are unable to
support your recommendation regarding this type of reimbursement,
since it is inconsistent with the City's policy and Subdivision
Ordinance. Based on Staff's recent survey with area cities,
regarding this matter, they do not use this method of reimbursement
as well.
Should you have any questions and or wish to explore other options
with Staff please call me. We look forward to working with you on
any of your development projects in Coppell.
Sincerely,
Alan Ratliff
