Road closed at Bridge.
Bridge:
Steel being placed on bridge
Flowable fill being added for west approach slab
Retaining Walls
New Steel being placed on south wall starting from the east

DISCUSSION WITH CONTRACTOR OR RESIDENT REPRESENTATIVE:
Bridge
Directed contractor turning up steel on concrete panels to allow for concrete underneath
Retaining Wall
Directed contractor to adjust steel to match detail provided
Discussed weep hole locations with Steve (Bridge contractor). Weep holes will be spaced 15ft
C-C and will vary in height due to proposed ground elevations.
Discussed potential issue of power pole guy lines and impact on retaining wall footing
Bridge Contractor is working with own engineer to determine another possible solution to
retrofitting south retaining wall already in place.
City:
Discussed drainage concern with Keith Marvin on east side of bridge, south side of Bethel. Keith
said they would be adding small grate inlets to pick up flow behind sidewalk and from
subdivision and connect to proposed inlet.
Discussed drainage on east side of bridge, north side of Bethel. Keith said they are considering
an open back inlet to pick up drainage behind curb.
Discussed riprap limits on north/east side of bridge. Keith would like to install some slope
protection on top of existing shale rock.
FOLLOW UP ACTION REQUIRED:
FNI will try and determine feasible solution for slope protection on north/east side of bridge.
