We had one of our structural engineers visit the site last Friday. They reviewed the contractors mock up
of the steel placement for the rail cap. Tony is in the process of revising the steel placement for the rail
cap. Attached is a marked up version of the changes. 246's will be removed along with the stirrup (not
indicated in attached) going up and down.
We will revise the sheet and reissue it for contractor use tomorrow morning. I'll have it delivered to your
office.

Caleb,
RFI #18 (attached) deals with the steel placement in the bridge rail. Can one of you visit the project and
look at what they have put together before we answer this.
We have also approved CO16 (attached) to reduce the bridge rail height from 4' -6" to 3' -6 ". 1 don't know if
that will have any bearing on their question.
