Keith,
It is my understanding that the structural engineer was on site yesterday evening to look at the steel for the
Coppell Rail that was set up on the bridge. Several persons met, but no one expressed to anyone good, bad, or
indifferent as to what they saw. North Texas Bridge is trying to get an answer on this so that they can begin
pouring this on Monday. Ideally it would be nice if there is a discrepancy, it be mentioned on site and correction
be made so that another site visit is not necessary. With no discussion at all, we are in the waiting mode to find
out if we can proceed or not. Per my visit this morning the site, Dennis Troutz, N TX Bridge, informed me that
another group of people are coming today to look at it again or something else. If I am informed as to when they
will be dropping by the site, I would be more than happy to attend, but I have to be able to know when they are
coming.
Please advise us of the status on proceeding on the Coppell Rail at this time.
