See below email from Per, sent to Johnny Heine, Mels Electric. I do not know exactly what this switch will entail,
but would like to see if we can get Coppell PD involved with whatever assistance is needed during this switch on
Thursday. Sounds like they want to do the switch at 9am and the time it will take is 2 to 4 hours to make this
switch. Please let me know if you can help in getting Coppell PD to help with traffic control.

I spoke with the engineer. Sounds like a go. Only topic of discussion was wether PD should be there. I said it
would be preferable. Per
So far no objections to the plan. We will need to make interruptions to the City's network connection as brief as
possible. It will involve two brief interruptions. We will disconnect the switch and loop the patch cable back to
the trunk. At this point you can do what you need to do with the cabinet because the network will be patched
through. After the new cabinet is in place and running we can reinstall the switch back in the loop.
I'm still waiting to speak with the project engineer who shouldn't be opposed to this schedule unless there is
another factor I haven't considered.
