For comment No. 1: Please submit the Overview and Concurrence form signed by officials from Cities of
Carrollton and Dallas or provide the annexation agreement and current corporate limits.
Comment No. 3: Basically you were saying that floodplain/floodway delineation has not changed other than the
removal of 12 acre portion. Okay based on your explanation please provide the clear contours with labels
inorder to support the removal of floodplain due to fill along with the other data that is currently shown in the
topographc workmap. Please provide both hard copy and pdf copy.
Comment No. 4: On top of the annotated FIRMettes (at the scale of effective FIRM) 48113C0155J and
48113C0160J please show the area with clear delineation which is going to be removed.

There are no revisions to the floodway. The 100 yr floodplain elevations decrease
a maximum of 0.04 ft and so the existing firm will be identical to the proposed firm
with the exception of the 12 acres shown removed from the 100 yr floodplain.
I can submit a map with contours in the area that has been revised, however the
limits of the 100 yr floodplain will not be shown. This project occurs at the
confluence of 5 creeks so the floodplain is really large.

corresponds to what. We cannot accept the map without the below mentioned modifications
Show clearly each boundary (100 YR, 500 YR, and regulatory floodway) delineation of currently effective
conditions as shown in effective maps 48113C0155J and 48113C0160J

Try 600 scale if you cannot show clearly all the above mentioned items at 800 scale. You can submit both
600 and 800 scale maps.

In review of Comment 3 of your letter of October 8 2010:
The scale required to show the entirety of all cross section in the revised area is 1"
= 800'. It is not possible (from a drafting viewpoint) to show the limits of the
cross sections with the 2 ft contours clearly labeled.
The revised area is only about 1/8" of stream length. There are changes in WSEL
greater than +/- 0.04 ft. Again I cannot show this change of WSEL at a scale
which can be read at a scale that can show the width of the floodplain and revised
sections.
I believe the proposed conditions work map shows all that is requested with the
possible exception of tie in points.
